Cultivate OT Summer Day Programming
Cultivate OT Summer Day Programming will be run by two occupational therapists, Nathalie Miller and Heather Mayer who specialize in utilizing the farm environment and equine movement in their practice.
When: Monday-Friday August 5th-9th from 9am-2pm
Who: For children ages 4-12 years old with a variety of disabilities
What: Children will be engaged in a variety of sensory and motor rich activities including horseback riding, groundwork with horses, water play, sensory play, gross motor and fine motor activities, and crafts!
- Children will all be accompanied by 1 on 1 volunteer (either program volunteer or occupational therapy student) during mounted/equine portion of day.
- Children must be potty trained and must not elope long distances. It is okay for a child to not be potty trained if they will be accompanied by a parent or a 1 on 1 aid who can manage toileting needs. Parents or 1 on 1 must attend volunteer training and sign liability forms to attend camp.
Payment for Cultivate Camp will be due on July 1st, 2024 and is $1,100 for the week.
Children must come to camp with a packed lunch.
